ZIP-ZIP[generally 20-25 Miles, Brisk, 1500-2500 feet total elevation gain]ZIP-ZIP is a Cascade ride started in 1997 that has been offered once a week in the spring and summmer ...well all year long! It's advertised as brisk which means that I the social biker don't go on it! However I really like the way the ride is offered (and the folks who lead it - Eric and Julie and Alex). The ride is advertised as "ZIP ZIP, chase the purple tandem." If you're into a quick fun evening ride, check Cascade Rides for the day and look for the purple tandem at Volunteer Park.
