The Vashon map was originally a flyer I handed out on a Cascade Bicycle Club ride I led around Vashon on May 23, 1998. It was copied from a tourist flyer that was being handed out in 1997 and 1998.

The map itself (which was scanned in) is a bit flamboyant (just right for a ride flyer) but doesn't even have accurate shore delineations.  Since I have altered the map a bit (added shore), consider this map a cartographic distortion.

I mainly used the GIMP  under Debian Linux for adjustment, red dotting and yellow/green routing. I used MapEdit  under Win95/WinXP and Linux for the image map (clicking to display photos).
