The Foot ferry goes from Seattle to both Vashon and Southworth (or will be soon
). There are a few boats used - pictured is the Tyee which is a very pleasant boat with even TV's inside and decks that you can lounge on. The other one which I usually take is the Skagit which doesn't have TV's or Decks.
There are only 10 bikes allowed on the Foot Ferry which is really the max. When there are 10 bikes ... there's two racks inside for 4 and 2 and then 4 bikes are hung by their tires on the stern. |
