One of my favorite places to eat in Seattle is the Essential Baking Company (website) which is a bakery/cafe/bar with it's pastry chef being a chocolatier. This picture is the meal I eat most of the time that I go there (either lunch or dinner). It includes spinach salad with red wineNot available 2005 vinegarette dressing, olive-oil soaked Pizza Bianca bread and soup. There is a daily menu and sandwiches and beer/wine are also available. The breads are fine (try the seeded baguette) and so is the chocolate. The location of the bakery is in the Seattle neighborhood Wallingford but I consider it to be located in Fremont about two miles from Seattle Downtown.
