Start of Carbon River Century at Russell Road Park in Kent The start of the Social Century at 8AM in Russell Park in Kent, WA. This photo is 1995 or 1996 ...but it's usually the same ...only the riders and weather are different.

This bridge is about halfway up the ascent to Carbon River. Riding up to the camera is Dan Hershman (Co-leader of the 1997 ride with myself).
This bridge was damaged (burnt) by a car accident in March 1998 but is open again in mid June 1998. 		On the bridge during the Carbon River Century
